What is the SC-ARES all about?

Susquehanna County ARES are made up of amateur radio professionals who volunteer their time to train for local communication failures.

Anyone who is a licensed amateur radio operator, and is interested in serving their community during a time of grid down communications are welcome.

We organize a variety of events throughout the year, including training, fox hunts, joint exercises with other counties and the state. Our events are designed to provide opportunities for learning, networking, and having fun with like-minded individuals in this field.

Click submit request, then submit again, and allow the application to process.

SAVE THE CONTROL NUMBER AND DATE!!

Once you receive your Request Completed E-Mail, click the link inside the E-Mail and use your Control Number to search for your Record Check Certificate.
Save this file as a PDF or print it out, and bring it to a meeting or send it with your SC-ARES Application preferably via email. Please put your Callsign at the beginning of the E-Mail subject.
